The Mozilla community in Palestine organized an event to participate in Firefox 70 SUMO campaign on Sunday 27th October, 2019 in the Information Technology faculty at An-Najah National University in Nablus.
The event includes an introduction about SUMO community. Ruba, an active contributer with l10N team introduced the attendees to the localization team and how they can get started and translate articles to Arabic.
Yamama, talked about the campaign and the main features in Firefox70. Also, she explained briefly how they can get started answering people’s questions from support.mozilla.org .
Attendees started answer questions on twitter with the help the help of Yamama,Ruba and Christophe Villeneuve who is a very active SUMO member from France. Christoph participated online in the event by categorizing questions and answering attendee’s inquiries.
The event was of two and a half hours, and it was attended by 25 students from different majors, each one answered at least one question.
